Beginners can Now Learn Tunes of their Favourite Crooners with Rehearsal Tracks

A rehearsal CD is the buzzword today in the music world which has changed the concept of singing and learning new tunes. Used in operas, concerts, and singing shows where a group of singers croon through various tunes, choral rehearsal is here to stay.

Rehearsal TracksWhat are Rehearsal Tracks?

Rehearsal tracks are special types of music used for training choral singing. The music with varied tunes and pitches are played and the singer quickly picks up the tunes.

How does it Function?

There is no need for the entire band to sit together to sing. Once, the singer learns the tunes at his or her own pace, the singers join in during the concert. In other words, the singer – who is a part of the choir – practices choral rehearsal by listening to the rehearsed tracks in a rehearsal CD.

The part to be learned by the crooner is visibly highlighted with mixed pitched voice. Other part of the music, which is not supposed to be learned, is also available – but, it is there at the background.

So, a learner will be able to learn the tunes which should be learned and also get a feel of where to fit in the tune in the entire sequence of the song.

Choir parts are produced through synthesizers while the other ones are instrumental. Synthesized notes are more pronounced and effective. Producing these notes is also cost effective.

Types of Rehearsal Tracks

A rehearsal CD can have different types of tracks to help choral practice. These are:

• Tunes played with entire band of instruments. The synthesizers are used to depict the highlighted voice. The crooner selects one and picks up the tune.

• Tunes played with instruments no doubt. However a singer’s voice is particularly highlighted. In choral rehearsal, this highlighted pitch is picked up by the crooner.

• Tunes played with basic instruments and a singer too sings her part. However, certain sections are little different from the rest. These are the difficult tunes which must be picked up with great clarity by the crooner.

Rehearsal CD makers, such as Note Perfect create rehearsal CDs to enable choral rehearsals. Some hold valuable license to provide rehearsal tracks in a set of 10 or more CDs with different types of choruses and solos.
